Are you an experienced administrator from a professional environment – such as law, accountancy or consultancy – looking for a fresh challenge?
We're looking for a well-organised, detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who's confident with admin processes, enjoys client interaction, and is now ready to build a rewarding career in financial planning.
You don't need a background in financial services – we'll teach you that. What we're really looking for is someone with the right attitude, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to handle a busy and varied workload in a calm, professional way.
Who we are
Kirrage Williams is a respected and growing financial planning firm based in Chesterfield. We provide clear, personal advice to individuals, families, and business owners – often supporting clients over many years and across generations.
We've created a professional, down-to-earth culture where people genuinely care about their work and each other. We host regular team-building outings, offer long-term incentives, and provide real opportunities to develop and progress within the business.
The Role
You'll support the smooth running of our advice process, working closely with advisers, paraplanners, and fellow administrators. Duties will include:
* Preparing documentation for client meetings (application forms, valuations, review packs)
* Processing new business and servicing existing policies
* Maintaining accurate records in our client management system (Intelligent Office)
* Liaising with clients and providers by phone and email
* Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations
* Learning financial services processes and terminology
It's a great opportunity to build long-term skills in a professional services firm, with plenty of room to grow and take on more responsibility over time.
What we're looking for
* Professional admin experience – ideally in a legal, accountancy, or similar setting
* Client-focused – you take pride in delivering great service and clear communication
* Organised and thorough – good with process, documentation, and deadlines
* Proactive – someone who takes ownership of their work and is keen to learn
* Comfortable with systems – including Microsoft Office; experience on Intelligent Office is a bonus but not essential
* A good team player – collaborative, helpful, and keen to contribute
The Offer
* Salary £25,000 – £28,500 depending on experience
* Discretionary bonus
* Company pension scheme
* Life cover (Death in Service)
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays (plus extra days for long service)
* Staff team-building events
* Early finish on Fridays
* Free parking
* Supportive team culture and long-term progression opportunities
Job Type: Full-time or part-time
Pay: £25,000.00–£28,500.00 per year (pro rata for part-time)
Work Location: In person – Chesterfield
