Overview
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join the team in our Torquay office, working with Insurers and our clients face to face and over the telephone, with knowledge of the Acturis Software system. We require the candidate to have strong customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. We need someone with the ability to use their initiative and work to deadlines, whilst also being an active member of the team.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Conduct thorough analysis of client accounts to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Engage in telemarketing efforts to generate new leads and expand the client base.
* Assist with sales administration tasks, including preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing policy renewals.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the policy lifecycle.
* Utilise negotiation skills to close sales and secure favourable terms for clients while adhering to company policies.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
* Proficiency in analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
* Experience in sales administration and familiarity with telemarketing practices is advantageous.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
