Key Responsibilities:
1. Month-End Reporting:
o Accurately report operating expenditure/margin, recognising accruals and prepayments while adhering to deadlines.
o Provide analysis of expected and actual expenditure, ensuring alignment with budget expectations.
2. Branch Financial Results:
o Ensure accurate reporting of regional branch financial results and correct allocation of costs across branch cost centres.
o Deliver variance analysis to Finance Business Partners and Regional staff.
3. Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
o Complete monthly reconciliations with supporting documentation for accruals and prepayments.
o Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
4. Team Management:
o Manage the performance, development, training, and succession planning of direct reports.

* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Exceptional communication skills to explain financial results to stakeholders.
* A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) or actively studying towards qualification.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Timely production of deliverables in line with Group and internal deadlines.
* Accuracy of financial results and balance sheet.
* Transparency of analysis to stakeholders, fostering confidence in financial results.
