Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for x4 Contract Implementation and Compliance Manager's based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
NHS Ayrshire and Arran are looking for an experienced Contract Implementation & Compliance Manager to lead on procurement and contracting activity.
This role will have responsibility for delivering numerous, complex contracts, this will include:-
1. Managing a large and varied contract portfolio
2. Undertaking and managing procurements from identifying a requirement to the awarding of the contract using procurement and sourcing principles
3. Analyse and report on a range of subjects including, products, suppliers and tender evaluation
4. Organise product trials, analyse product use and supply, investigate savings opportunities and implement and report accordingly
5. Maximising cost savings and efficiencies in the contracting and procurement process
6. Developing and managing a range of suppliers
7. And improving on service delivery through the use of best practice

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
8. Educated to Degree Level or equivalent level
9. Professional/Postgraduate qualification in Purchasing and Supplies, Diploma of or equivalent experience
10. Demonstrable experience within the Procurement profession and have worked in an environment where a high level of interface with a diverse range of stakeholders and customers is required.
11. Able to evidence a successful track record in Procurement.
12. Able to demonstrate a successful track record in change management.
13. Evidence of good leadership skills.
14. Can demonstrate significant experience working with computerised supply chain systems and extensive IT literacy, involving data analysis and presentation.
15. Experience gained within a leading edge environment applying best practice procurement and change management processes.
16. Experience in leading the delivery of significant economic and service benefits form joint working activities (cross sector/organisation).
17. Demonstrable leadership skills.
18. Possesses high level data analysis skills.
19. Evidence successfully leading the implementation of best practice supply chain management practice/process.
20. Proven high level IT data analysis skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
21. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
