Business Management Analyst – Financial Services Technology

About the Role

Our client, a global financial services leader, is seeking a Business Management Analyst to join their Technology function. This role is central to ensuring governance, coordination, and operational efficiency across Technology. You’ll support leadership with day-to-day responsibilities, improve processes, and act as a trusted point of contact for the function. This is a varied and dynamic role, ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, collaboration, and problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the Technology Leadership Team and Business Manager with BAU activities and strategic initiatives.

* Respond to ad-hoc requests, delivering insights and information to support effective decision-making.
* Prepare meeting materials, capture actions, and track follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, driving improvements where required.
* Review and enhance existing business processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
* Act as the main point of contact for Technology queries and information requests.
* Support cost management by working with budget holders to review and challenge deal approvals.
* Track key operational activities, such as external resource usage and mandatory training compliance.


What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience:

* 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within Financial Services Technology.
* Highly structured with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
* Strong ownership mindset—proactive, accountable, and results-oriented.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong interpersonal skills with experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills.
* Adaptable and willing to learn new tools and approaches.

Preferred:

* Experience with data analysis and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
* Previous experience in a business support role within financial services.
