Qualifications
* Experience as a Project Manager.
* Experience in the healthcare sector and ideally delivered genomics projects.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
* Exceptional communication skills.
* You have demonstrated leadership ability and expertise in matrix management.
* A PRINCE2 practitioner level qualification.
Responsibilities
* As the Senior Project Manager, you'll not only lead projects but also play a pivotal role in developing the professional skills of our team. Through peer reviews and personal development initiatives, you'll ensure that each team member delivers project outputs to the highest standard, always on time and within budget.
* Lead and manage the development and delivery of a number of Digital and Data projects – in the Paediatric Service Transfer programme, but not limited to:
* The programme of work that will deliver the transition of paediatric services from the Royal Marsden and St George's to Guys and St Thomas' (GSTT), focusing on the digital and data migration requirements, including the transfer of patient records, technical dependencies, and the complexities of managing multiple work streams and stakeholders. This consists of a complex set of sub-projects, supported by an experienced subject matter expert. You will report activity, progress, risk and issues to appropriate project and programme boards.
* Adhoc clinical technology projects that are GSTT related as required by the Head of Application Architecture and Development, programme manager or wider senior leadership team in RM Digital.
* Deliver projects on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards that meet business needs. Liaise with the key stakeholders from the business and the Digital Diagnostics Programme, working closely with other Programme and Project Managers, Workstream Leads, business leads and partners hospitals and their business stakeholders.
* Deliver key digital projects enabling the safe transition of Paediatric services, ensuring migrations of clinical and activity data are managed effectively; and digital services necessary for ongoing safe patient care are implemented successfully.
* For all projects, deliver in full compliance with the Trust’s PMO framework.
* Ensure delivery of key elements against agreed milestones, budget and timelines with demonstration of success, outcome measures and key performance indicators.
* Maintain the project planning, including project reporting, monthly highlight reports, updating the risk logs, producing exception reports and ensuring that all work remains on target to deliver agreed objectives.
* Ability to work as part of a larger team and when required independently.
* Support and enforce the department’s strategic vision and deliver projects to support the RMH Digital Roadmap.
* Work with Project Board and end users to design changes in working practices which comply with the functionality of the system being implemented and to offer solutions to risks associated with processes.
* Work with external (and internal) suppliers to ensure effective project delivery within time, budget and agreed quality standards.
