Location: St James CE Infant and Nursery School
Hours: 35 hours a week (Part time hours negotiable for the correct candidate), 08:00am – 15:30pm (With half an hour unpaid lunch break) Term time only
Contract type: Temporary until 31 July 2025 with the possibility to be extended/made permanent
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inclusive Temporary Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs across Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. You will be part of our Blossom Team which work across the school to support children with a range of additional needs.
We are looking for someone who is:
• open to learning new strategies;
• experienced in using positive behaviour strategies to engage children in learning activities so their social and emotional skills are developed to support their readiness to learn;
• has good communication, ICT and organisational skills;
• passionate about the learning and development of children and creating opportunities for children to succeed and move their learning forward;
• physically fit and mobile;
• committed to inclusive education.
