Vision for Education are currently recruiting Science Teachers in Stoke-on-Trent to work across a range of secondary schools in the area. About the role As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons in the absence of the regular teacher or as part of a longer-term placement. You will promote scientific inquiry, practical experimentation, and a positive attitude towards Science while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning. This role is ideal for qualified Science teachers seeking flexibility, a better work-life balance, or varied experience across different school settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5) Encourage student engagement with practical experiments, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Manage behaviour in line with school policies Assess and monitor student progress where required Provide feedback to teaching staff and departments About the school You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent, ranging from smaller community schools to larger academies.
