Instead, they need to possess strong organisational and leadership skills to drive the project forward. Essential Skills and Qualities Project Management Experience Proven experience in managing projects in any sector is crucial, as well as a proactive approach to solving challenges. Planning and Organisation The ability to create a clear plan, manage a project lifecycle, and work independently to deadlines. Communication Strong communication skills are vital for coordinating with different remote teams and volunteers. Leadership Experience in motivating and leading remote or volunteer teams is beneficial. Passion A love of dogs is a huge bonus
What will you be doing?
We're seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee the design, development, and launch of our Digital Education Hub. This is a high-impact, short-term project that will significantly expand our ability to support spaniel owners across the UK. This is a project management role — you don't need to be a spaniel expert Instead, your focus will be on ensuring the project runs smoothly, volunteers stay motivated, and milestones are met. You'll be the person keeping everything on track, spotting challenges early, and celebrating successes along the way. Key Responsibilities Project Management Develop and manage a clear project plan to design, build, and launch the new resources section. Cross-Team Collaboration Liaise with our Comms & Marketing, Education, and IT teams to coordinate tasks, align priorities, and ensure deadlines are met. Problem Solving Proactively identifying and resolving any challenges that arise to keep the project on track. Reporting Providing regular updates to the Board of Trustees and team leads on progress and celebrating key milestones.
