What is the role?
The Customer Care Coordinator will deliver outstanding customer experience by communicating with our customers, site managers, directly employed maintenance operatives, and contractors. The role involves encouraging customers to provide information about any problems they may have, recording that information carefully on our computer system, and arranging for their problems to be addressed as quickly as possible by coordinating appointments, labor, and parts.
Primary Responsibilities
* Providing effective support to homeowners, building relationships, and ensuring they enjoy their new home.
* Handling communications regarding defects professionally and promptly, adhering to Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
* Collaborating with other departments (Construction, Sales, Surveying, Technical) to ensure optimal communication and achievement of KPIs.
* Responding to incoming homeowner communications and proactively contacting existing homeowners to ensure satisfaction.
* Issuing work orders to maintenance operatives and subcontractors, monitoring progress through to completion.
* Ensuring compliance with the Group's HS&E Policy throughout the team.
* Carrying out general administrative duties.
* While primarily office-based, opportunities exist to visit customers to build relationships through face-to-face contact.
What experience do I need?
* Previous Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in housing or construction is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail when capturing and logging customer information.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure, with proactive problem-solving skills and effective response to customer complaints.
* IT literate, with good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of COINS is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
