Job Title: Casual Bar Staff – several positions available

Purpose of the Role:
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic people who will be responsible for the smooth operation of a quality bar service.
Bar Staff must have excellent presentation and be passionate about food, drink, customer service and the delivery of an effective and efficient product. They must be focused on the customer experience from entry to leaving.
You will undertake a range of duties essential for the successful operation of a bar such as preparation or drinks, table service, setup and close down, stock rotation, cleaning of the bar area etc.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparing and serving soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and wines/beers
• Taking customer orders
• Some elements of food preparation e.g fruits for dressing drinks
• Hot drink preparation – coffee and teas
• Taking electronic payments
• Clearing of tables
• General cleaning duties to include bars and tables.
• Providing friendly and appropriate customer interaction
• Stocking drinks, glasses, fruit and food

Requirements
• To work on the bar you must be over 18
• Knowledge of alcoholic drinks including wine is preferrable
• A proactive team player who works on own initiative.
• A great communicator with a genuine interest and enthusiasm for great customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Polite, courteous, and presentable at all times.
• Have a professional and positive attitude.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere to all guests.
• Active listening skills to ensure orders are taken correctly.
• Previous experience in Hospitality is desirable.
• Operate in accordance with the appropriate Health and Safety; Food Hygiene and Service standards and be willing to undertake appropriate induction training in these key areas.
You will need to have the Right to Work in the UK or be able to obtain this by the start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

The rate of pay for this role is £12.21 (rising to £12.71 from 1/4/26)
