The Role
We are on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the fostering community. Your role will involve:
* Collaborating with foster parents to ensure meaningful supervision of placements.
* Maintaining high standards through quality assurance and training for foster parents.
* Recruiting, training, and supervising foster parents while promoting the welfare of children.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A qualification in Social Work or equivalent, registered with Social Work England.
* Experience working within fostering and a comprehensive understanding of fostering regulations and child care law.
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality practice.
* Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
* A full driving licence and the ability to travel across the North West.
Your Responsibilities
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
* Work collaboratively with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals.
