Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location and skills.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times match closely but not exactly, we’d still love to hear from you. Read more.

* Understanding store performance and contributing to service, sales, waste reduction, and profit.
* Handling products carefully to maintain quality.
* Living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and following policies.

You will need:
* A passion for delivering great service with a smile.
* Ability to build rapport with customers.

What’s in it for you:
* Holiday entitlement starting at 20 days plus a personal day, rising to 22 days after 12 months (plus Bank holidays).
* Flexible working requests from day one.
* Discounts including 10% off and 15% at pay weekends, saving up to £2,000 annually with your Colleague Clubcard.
