Electrical Maintenance EngineerDudley Salary: £33,123 – £36,000 (including shift allowance) + OvertimeRotating Shifts: 6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm (possibility of nights in the future)Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-established steel processing company in the heart of Dudley? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving electrical faults, we’d love to hear from you!The Role You’ll be part of a two-person maintenance team on a rotating shift pattern, working alongside a Mechanical Engineer. Your focus will be on ensuring the electrical systems and equipment are running safely and efficiently.Responsibilities include:
* Carrying out both preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
* Diagnosing and repairing faults during breakdowns
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety protocols
* Completing daily shift reports and necessary documentation
Key Tasks
* Electrical fault finding and repairs on industrial machinery
* Working with control panels, motors, and sensors
* Basic knowledge of PLCs (advantageous)
* Participation in installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Occasional support with mechanical tasks during breakdowns
What We’re Looking For
* Completed Electrical Apprenticeship or time-served in a similar role
* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance
* Previous experience in heavy industry or steel processing (desirable)
* Good understanding of safety procedures and electrical regulations
