Band 6 CT Radiographer - Fixed Term

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 senior Radiographer to join our radiology department based in CT.
The CT service covers four sites: King George and Queens, Barking Community Hospital and St Georges in Hornchurch.
Essential qualities: good communicator, team player, capable of working unassisted and organising the day-to-day within the modality. Will be responsible for safe, efficient, high quality service while supervising and advising junior staff.
Work flexible: weekday/weekend, out-of-hours standby rota; 7-day department.
Contract: 12 months fixed-term, may be slightly shorter after administration.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will participate in the effective running of the CT department under senior staff, ensuring delivery of high quality patient care. In liaison with senior radiographers, the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff, students and assistant practitioners.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
* Hold BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, College of Radiographers Diploma or equivalent.
* Current HCPC Registration.
Experience / Knowledge
* Previous experience of working at this level.
* Experience in working in cross sectional imaging.

£45,953 to £54,254 a year per annum inclusive.
