Role: Deputy Nursing Home Manager
Location: Norfolk
Salary: £52,000 – £55,000
Are you a passionate and experienced Nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership journey? We’re currently recruiting for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join a large, well-established care home in Norfolk, specialising in elderly, dementia, and nursing care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinical leader who’s ready to make a real impact—supporting a high-performing team, driving quality care standards, and playing a vital role in the home’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and continuous improvement of care pathways across residential, nursing, and dementia services
Support the commissioning of specialist services when needed
Drive quality standards through audits, safeguarding investigations, and follow-up action planning
Oversee care planning and risk assessments to ensure compliance and person-centred care
Confidently deputise for the Registered Manager and ensure regulatory compliance (CQC, H&S, COSHH, etc.)
Maintain safe staffing levels aligned to occupancy and care needs
Manage staff performance, absence, and promote team wellbeing initiatives
✅ What We’re Looking For:
NMC Registered Nurse – Adult or Mental Health
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing within a care home environment
Skilled in clinical oversight, safeguarding, and quality assurance
Level 4 Leadership qualification (or a willingness to work towards it)
