Join to apply for the Linen Services Assistant role at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
Location: Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, providing acute hospital and community services to the people of the Wigan Borough and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Accurately count, sort, deliver and record the daily linen stock to wards and departments.
* Sort and distribute linen to wards and departments within agreed timeframes.
* Operate onsite laundry facilities for washing and drying of baby items in line with infection control guidelines.
* Receipt and audit goods efficiently and accurately.
* Provide uniform measuring, fitting and issuing service to users as required.
Qualifications / Required capabilities
* Ability to receipt and audit goods accurately.
* Experience with operating onsite laundry facilities in accordance with infection control guidelines.
* Ability to assist with uniform measurement, fitting and issuing as required.
* Good numeracy and attention to detail in stock handling and record-keeping.
