Description
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial washing machines and related equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime for clients.
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure equipment meets operational and safety standards.
Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment usage and maintenance.
Maintain accurate service records and document all work carried out.
Travel to client sites in and around Birmingham with a company vehicle provided.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve service processes and solutions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Profile
A successful Field Service Engineer should have:
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Willingness to travel locally around Birmingham and occasionally further afield.
A valid driving licence to operate the company-provided vehicle.Job Offer
£40,000 Base salary
Overtime x 1.5, and can be anywhere between 20 and 40 hours per month.
20 days of annual leave, plus statutory holidays, increasing with length of service.
