Job Title: Technical Coordinator
Salary: £25,000 £30,000 per annum
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (Full-Time, Permanent)
Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail? We're looking for a Technical Coordinator to support the Technical Manager in a varied and fast-paced role, helping to ensure the business meets its compliance, quality, and health & safety standards.
You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate technical documentation, supporting audit preparation, and liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company and grow your career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to the Technical Manager
Maintain and update technical documentation, compliance records, and health & safety files
Assist with audit preparation and internal inspections
Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding specifications, certifications, and quality matters
Manage data entry and filing of quality and production records
Support traceability and product assurance processes
Organise meetings, manage schedules, and coordinate department activities
Provide general administrative support across the technical and quality teams
Requirements:
Previous experience in a technical, QA, or administrative role (ideally within food, FMCG, or manufacturing)
Strong understanding of compliance, H&S, or quality systems (preferred but not essential)
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
