This is a brilliant opportunity to join my client, a new, enthusiastic Multidisciplinary Consultancy, currently in the process of establishing themselves as a leading service in the Water Sector. They are currently seeking a motivated, capable Graduate CAD Technician, who is willing to take on a number of exciting projects. You will be based near the vibrant, diverse city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities for the role of Graduate CAD Technician include:
Produce 2D drawings and 3D models, to specific requirements
Assist with the preparation of plans, sections, details, and schematics
Support drawing packages for planning, technical approval, and construction
Revise and update drawings to align with changes to design projects
Maintain drawing registers and file structures
Coordinate drawing information with engineers across multiple teams
Support the wider team with document and model coordination tasks
Required skills and experience for the role of Graduate CAD Technician include:
Qualification (i.e., Bachelors Degree, HND, or HNC) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Keen interest in technical drawing and digital design for engineering projects
Excellent attention to detail, and able to accurately follow technical instructions
Organised and methodical, with good time management skills
Strong communication skills, with a willingness to proactively seek feedback and learn new skills
Positive, team-focused approach to work
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Graduate CAD Technician include:
Experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of Civils 3D, Revit, or other BIM tools
A basic understanding of GIS
Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
