Business Systems Analyst Rapid7 is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to help improve and optimise our Salesforce ecosystem across Sales, Customer Success, and Support. About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Salesforce solutions. Specifically, your focus will be to:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements for Salesforce projects & enhancements.
* Support the design and delivery of scalable Salesforce solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
* Document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
* Participate in testing activities, including creating test cases, performing system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing.
* Work closely with Salesforce admins, developers, and vendor partners to extend platform capabilities.
* Help manage a pipeline of projects and enhancements, ensuring business priorities are met.
* Contribute to change management activities by preparing user communications, training, and documentation.
* Continuously learn and grow Salesforce expertise while developing a strong understanding of Rapid7’s business processes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a similar role supporting business applications.
* Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Experience with process mapping, documentation, and analysis to support continuous improvement.
* Exposure to Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
* Salesforce experience preferred, including familiarity with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
* Experience with system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) is a plus.
* Knowledge of Sales, Customer Success, or Support processes is a plus.
* Interest in learning and developing Salesforce expertise and business systems knowledge.
