Wellbeing Key Worker

The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment, Justice and Health team are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Wellbeing Key Worker to join our Personal Wellbeing team, covering our offices in Liverpool. In this role, you’ll work closely with individuals to help them make lasting lifestyle changes that enhance their health and overall wellbeing.

We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment. Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have recently been released from custody, experienced relationship breakdown or family issues, social isolation or mental ill-health.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure service users receive a personalised Wellbeing offer that meets individual needs and levels of complexity.
2. Manage a wide range of service users by caseload, ensuring achievement of agreed targets.
3. Deliver comprehensive assessments, including screening for Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD).
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with local services to support service users, including signposting and case conferencing.
5. Deliver support via digital platforms, group workshops, and face-to-face sessions.
6. Produce high-quality, strength-based service user action plans.
7. Plan, deliver, and evaluate group sessions tailored to service user needs.
8. Ensure compliance with Wellbeing contract requirements and act on feedback through CPD.

About You:

9. Recent experience of delivering personal wellbeing progressions and outcomes, particularly in a Criminal Justice setting.
10. Experience of managing a caseload of service users to support them in improving their wellbeing.
11. Skilled in developing strength-based action plans.
12. Knowledge of the local health and wellbeing support landscape, both statutory and community.
13. Understanding of the quality issues relating to delivery in a Justice setting.
14. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on service user contact, team collaboration, and partnership working.
15. Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.

Skills Required:

16. Experience working in a target-driven environment, with a focus on achieving successful outcomes.
17. Ability to deliver one-to-one and group sessions, with previous experience in a criminal justice setting.
18. Understanding and ability to use digital channels and platforms in service delivery.
19. Counselling skills for health professionals.
20. Knowledge of the local health and wellbeing support landscape (statutory and community).
21. Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Awareness/Prevention.
22. Experience working with victims and perpetrators of Domestic Abuse.
23. Have completed Substance Misuse Awareness Level 3 (Desirable).

We are currently unable to provide sponsorship for work permits or visas. Therefore, we can only consider candidates who already have the legal right to work in the UK.
