Overview
We are recruiting for a Retail Development Manager to join our Booker and Makro Wholesale division. You will work with Premier symbol operators and independent retailers to build relationships and grow their businesses.
Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth in your region through recruitment of competitor stores and identifying new store opportunities for existing retailers.
* Manage a defined territory with responsibility for sales, debt, margin, cash profit and customer satisfaction, with an emphasis on sales growth.
* Collaborate with the General Manager and partners to build relationships and trust with retailers.
Qualifications and Skills
* Adaptive to people and situations; able to operate with a daily routine but flexible as needed.
* Solution-focused sales approach with problem-solving abilities and resilience to handle difficult conversations.
* Familiar with the local area and the social and economic factors affecting it.
* Willingness to travel frequently.
Working Pattern and Requirements
* 5-day week with possible weekend and bank holiday work.
* Frequent travel required.
