Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
* Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed
* Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
