We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Manager in an education setting. This is a key role requiring a flexible, enthusiastic, and highly organised individual with a strong understanding of site management and Health & Safety regulations.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the general upkeep of buildings and grounds. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the premises.
Experience desired: A proven background in site or facilities management, with hands-on experience in general maintenance or building work
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and proactively
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and manage competing priorities
Competence in maintaining accurate records and using ICT systems effectively
Practical skills to carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs to a high standard
Experience supervising cleaning staff and managing external contractors
