Events Co-ordinator
Love bringing people together and making every moment count? This role might be for you.
Division: Signature Guest Services
Location: Central London, Southwark
Hourly Rate: £14.80 (40 hours per week)
About the Role
At Signature, we don't just run workplaces — we create experiences that people remember.
Our Events Co-ordinators are Experience Architects. The people who turn a blank meeting room into an inspiring space, transform a routine conference into a moment delegates talk about for weeks, and make every guest feel like the most important person in the building.
This is a creative, energetic, people-first role at a leader telecommunications provider, a prestigious corporate environment where the bar for excellence is high and no two days are the same.
You'll be the calm in the middle of a busy event day. The person who spots what's needed before anyone asks, who makes things happen quietly and brilliantly behind the scenes, and who always finds a way to say yes.
Why This Role Matters
Events are where businesses make their most important impressions — on clients, on partners, on their own people.
Whether it's a leadership away-day, a major client presentation or an internal celebration, the Events Co-ordinator is the person who makes it all feel effortless. You'll own the detail, bring the energy, and ensure that every experience delivered on site something people are proud of.
Because great events don't happen by accident. They happen when someone cares enough to get every detail right.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Create unforgettable first impressions — delivering a warm, confident welcome for delegates, trainers, partners and visitors that sets the tone for their whole day.
2. Design experiences, not just logistics — from room layouts and signage to catering presentation and flow of day, every element will reflect your eye for detail and creativity.
3. Bring order and calm to busy event days — managing bookings, coordinating catering, refreshing spaces and keeping everything running smoothly, even when the pace picks up.
4. Be the glue that holds the team together — working closely with AV, catering, cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure every space is always at its absolute best.
5. Keep administration tight and accurate — maintaining the events calendar, ensuring all booking details are accurate and complete, and supporting the correct processing of charges and billing.
6. Be the eyes and ears of the event spaces — carrying out daily audits, spotting issues before they impact the experience and escalating anything that needs attention.
7. Champion continuous improvement — bringing fresh ideas that help elevate how events are delivered and experienced on site.
Who This Role is Perfect For
You don't need a lengthy CV in events management to be brilliant at this role.
What matters most to us is your mindset, your energy and your instinct for making people feel welcome. We're looking for someone who is moving into — or ready to grow within — a corporate environment, and who brings the very best of a hospitality or service background with them.
This role is perfect for someone who:
8. Has a genuine love of people and naturally creates warmth in any room
9. Stays composed and solution-focused, even on the busiest days
10. Takes enormous pride in beautifully presented, well-organised spaces
11. Has an eye for detail that others simply don't have
12. Brings energy, creativity and a can-do attitude to everything they do
13. Communicates clearly and confidently with everyone, from delegates to senior stakeholders
14. Is proactive — you foreseen problems before they arise
If you have a background in hotels, hospitality, retail, reception or customer service, that experience translates brilliantly here. You already know how to read a room, manage competing priorities and make people feel looked after — those are exactly the skills that make a great Events Co-ordinator in a corporate setting.
At Signature, we can teach the specifics. What we're really looking for are the right behaviours and the right attitude.
The Signature Way
At Signature, great workplace experiences are created by people who care about how others feel.
Our Events Co-ordinators bring this to life every day by:
15. Owning the energy and creating a positive atmosphere from the moment guests arrive
16. Communicating with presence, confidence and genuine warmth
17. Bringing creativity and personal flair to every setup, every space, every detail
18. Staying calm and proactive, especially on the days that matter most
19. Collaborating with team members across all service lines to deliver a seamless experience
20. Continuously looking for new ways to raise the bar
What We'll Give You
21. Monday to Friday role
22. 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
23. Company sick pay
24. Access to Virtual GP (including your family)
25. Access to our benefits platform and MiDeal discounts
26. Recognition programmes that celebrate the moments you create
27. Access to Signature training and development programmes to help you grow your events and hospitality skills
28. Access to Facilities Management development programmes
This Role Might Not Be For You If…
29. You prefer a quiet, routine role where every day looks the same
30. You're not comfortable being the face of an experience for senior guests and clients
31. You find it hard to stay calm and positive when multiple things are happening at once
32. You'd rather someone else spot the details and solve the problems
This role is designed for people who thrive on variety, take genuine pride in service and love the feeling of pulling off a brilliant event.
