Your role will be varied, working across different shift times, tasks and with different colleagues. There’s no such thing as a typical day in retail, but we’ve tried our best to describe what a normal day looks like.
You will be required to sell alcohol, therefore you must be 18 or over to work in our store.
What you'll do
* Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
What you'll need
* A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills
* The willingness to go the extra mile for our customers
* To be responsible and reliable
* To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment
* A good team player
* Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but not essential if you have the right attitude
What you'll receive

* £12.40 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 3 years

Shift patterns
* Morning shift: 5am or 6am start with stocking and bakery prep before opening
* Middle shift: Mid-morning or early afternoon, cleaning, stock presentation, assisting customers and tills
* Late shift: Afternoon start, tills service, restocking and preparing the store for the next day
