Your new companyYou will be working for a local construction company looking to add a Finance Manager to their experienced finance team.Your new role
* Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance department
* Support the FD with operational and strategic organisation of the finance function, responsibility for management accounts process, management of finance team.
* Line Management responsibility for small team including coaching
* Responsible for completion of monthly forecasts and 3YP as required by group timetables.
* Collation of data to produce accurate forecasts
* Maintain data for forecasting
* Responsibility for the overall cash management of the business
* Assist in managing the cost control of the division, including active participation in the monthly valuation process
* Review sales revenues regularly
* Review monthly management accounts and associated reconciliations.
* Provide monthly board statistics.
* Assist the sales team with weekly reporting and deal sheet authorisation.
* Prepare consolidation pack for audit review.
* Review annual accounts and annual tax submissions.
* Liaise with other members of the finance team to facilitate the efficient running of the department.
* Deputise for the Finance Director as and when necessary.
* Deal with queries from Group/Region/Division as required.
