Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a client which specialises in designing and manufacturing furniture.

This position is suited to someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced setting
Main Duties of this position:
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (with overtime available)
* 12 week temp to perm position
* Cleaning and preparing metal components for powder coating
* Labelling metal parts accurately for production and dispatch
* Preparing finished items for dispatch once production is complete
* Securely wrapping metal products ready for delivery and transportation
What we require from you:
* Own transport to commute to and from work is essential due to the location of the client
* Physically fit and happy to heavy lift due to the nature of the work
* Great attention to detail
* Computer literate, ability to read diagrams and drawings
* Sandblasting experience is beneficial but not essential
* Hardworking, reliable, and honest
* Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
