Key Responsibilities:
* Provide key financial data for internal month-end P&L submissions
* Remeasure and check BOQ updates
* Conduct risk analysis and forecasting for cost and value
* Manage cost provisions and accruals, including third-party materials, subcontractors, and plant
* Analyse weekly cost ledgers using the company's financial systems
* Demonstrate competent knowledge of subcontract agreements
* Facilitate subcontractor progress and update meetings
* Agree on subcontractor valuations and payment certificates
* Compile data for inclusion in main payment applications
* Conduct commercial auditing of subcontracts, including payment applications, rates, and claims
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Cost Engineer in the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of NEC 4 Option B Contracts and the NAECI Agreement
* Expertise in the Standard Method of Measurement
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in using financial systems, such as SAP and Power BI
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
