Sales Support Manager
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, international manufacturing business operating within a highly regulated technical sector. With increasing global demand and continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and highly organised Sales Support Manager to join their team.
This is a commercially focused role supporting global customers and partners, while coordinating closely with internal Sales, Operations, and Production teams.
The Role
Working alongside senior leadership, you will support the full sales process and act as a key liaison between customers and internal departments. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the full sales lifecycle from RFI/RFQ through to fulfilment
* Assisting with — and ultimately managing — international tender submissions
* Acting as the “Voice of the Customer” internally, coordinating lead times and delivery expectations
* Providing internal sales cover when required
* Organising and supporting customer visits, demonstrations, and international exhibitions
* Coordinating logistics, documentation, and reporting for Sales Management
* Supporting marketing materials and internal communications
* Attending relevant industry events, including those organised by the Ministry of Defence and trade associations such as ADS Group
About You
* Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales/order process
* High level of attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Confident building relationships at all levels
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Willing and able to travel in the UK and internationally (essential)
Experience with tender management or bid coordination would be advantageous
