We are recruiting a legal assistant to join our expanding law firm.
The successful candidate will be professional, reliable and able to complete tasks thoroughly with attention to detail. They will be given full training on all aspects of the job which will include a wide range of duties. These will include:
* Preparation of Court Bundles;
* Drafting of Court Forms;
* Submission and Tracking of Help With Fees Applications;
* Processing Court Orders;
* Scanning and distributing incoming post in a particular way to ensure the case management system is updated correctly;
* Sorting and sending outgoing post;
* Updating and maintaining records;
* General office administration tasks; and
* Following processes to implement tasks.
Experience of working within a law firm is preferred, but is not essential. Candidates should have experience of working within an office environment, be proficient in IT and computer systems. A working understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential and they must demonstrate a good work ethic.
It is essential that candidates are confident on the telephone, good with people and are polite, well mannered and presentable.
