Band 3 Renal Clinical Support Worker Higher Level – Permanent Part time, 25 hours per week.
Topic: Provide full support and training in haemodialysis patient care duties. The unit provides holistic, evidence‑based care to patients requiring haemodialysis, with 14 stations and a multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties
The post holder will carry out delegated tasks involving direct care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assisting in the delivery of high‑quality patient care and support during haemodialysis. The post holder is expected to work within their own level of competence and assist in the preparation, provision of care and supervision of patients treated by haemodialysis.

Qualifications – Essential
* Level 3 vocational qualification, or short courses with completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in patient and clinical care duties.
* Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties.
* National Care Certificate or commitment to complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment.
* Numeracy and literacy level 2.
