Are you a proactive and experienced leader with a passion for operations? We are seeking a Transport Supervisor to join our Christchurch team and oversee daily operations. In this key role, you’ll manage staff, ensure service quality, maintain safety standards, and build strong client relationships. This is a fulltime role - minimum of 36 hours per week.Pay rate is $32.00 per hourLooking for someone with previous security supervising experience!
Key Responsibilities:
*Operations Supervision: Lead daily transport operations, ensuring service delivery meets client expectations and follows SOPs.*Staff Management: Supervise security officers, manage inductions, training, and ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.*Health & Safety: Implement First Security’s health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, training, and regular safety meetings.*Rostering & Scheduling: Organize staff schedules, ensuring shifts are filled, and operational requirements are met efficiently.*Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, handling requests and providing timely reports on incidents or operational issues.
What We’re Looking For:
*Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team to meet operational goals.*Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety procedures and the ability to ensure staff are trained and compliant.*Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to liaise with clients, teams, and report on incidents.*Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage schedules, incidents, and reporting.*Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems to manage day-to-day operations.
Ideal Candidate:
*Holds MOJ approval and the necessary client-specific clearances.*Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of tasks.*Physically fit and adaptable to changing environments with a customer-focused mindset.*Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
