Mission Description
Are you interested in working at the business end of Aerospace? We're looking for a high achieving individual who has previous experience managing complex programmes in a regulated environment. You will be well versed in financial controls, project planning and have worked in an NPI setting previously.
Responsibilities
Leading a multi-disciplined group of people in meeting contracted project objectives and targets. This will involve communicating with senior level management within the business and the customer's organisation, serving as the primary customer interface with responsibility for delivering contract requirements and maintaining the customer relationship.
Be the main programme interface for ensuring NPI programme execution in accordance with business policies and procedures, and gated review requirements.
Ensuring NPI governance to cover, but not limited to:
* Financial performance and reporting (i.e. Earned Value Management – BAC / EAC Tracking)
* Change Management
* Risk and Issue management
* Project Planning and Control
* Integrated Project Team and Stakeholder management
Working with IPT leads to generate, maintain and effectively communicate project plans and resource profiles/requirements.
Be fully conversant with the business management system and implement across the project(s) under your responsibility – ensuring compliance.
Drive Customer Satisfaction to ensure positive Customer Satisfaction surveys against agreed and structured success criteria.
Supporting Project Status Reviews to Customer and Senior Management.
Ensure Key Project Indicators are tracked, maintained and reported on a regular basis via the Tier Review process and other agreed business processes.
Be an advocate for and drive continuous improvement activities utilising Continuous Improvement process methodologies.
Essential Skills
* Previous experience of delivering New Product Introduction with project planned and control attributes.
* Demonstrable track record of high‑performance standards used to deliver against a programme's objectives.
* Accountability, abundant leadership and communication skills.
* Must be comfortable working within a defence environment.
