Availability Window
Days and hours when availability is requested: Mon 15:00 to 24:00, Tue 18:00 to 24:00, Sat 15:00 to 24:00. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice of exact shifts.
Shift Leader pay starts from £14.76 per hour and increases to £15.97 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The availability window describes the periods in the week we’d like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.

As a Shift Leader you’ll contribute to store operations and customer service, overseeing the store from the shop floor, and helping to keep things running smoothly. You’ll face challenges and strive to make things better for customers, colleagues and communities, every day.
Responsibilities
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety
* Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
* Be there for customers, listening to them and helping them leave the store with what they came for
* Look for ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and giving feedback
* Guide and support colleagues in-store to keep the store a safe place to work and shop
* Maintain understanding of store performance and assist managers in delivering actions to improve running
* Lead from the front and set a great example for colleagues

Qualifications and Expectations
* Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail preferred
* Strong customer service focus and ability to coach others
* Ability to communicate clearly and work with diverse teams
