This is a role where relationships come first, working in a specialist SEND school where every child’s voice, individuality, and joy truly matter. We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who believes that meaningful engagement with children is the most important part of the job.

What the role involves:
* Leading small group learning and supporting teachers in delivering adapted, engaging lessons
* Using AAC, visuals, signing, sensory strategies and alternative communication approaches
* Building trusting, positive relationships with pupils with a range of complex needs
* Creating calm, structured and sensory-friendly learning environments
* Working closely with teachers, Speech & Language Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team
* Supporting emotional regulation and ensuring pupils feel safe, valued and understood
