Senior Support Worker
Location: Birmingham
Pay: Pay Up to £34,779 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
* Support young people with their daily routines: getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times, and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Lead shifts and deputise for the home manager.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join activities such as trips to the park, popcorn and movie nights, or creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where you’ll do it
We are a 3-bed childrens home in Birmingham. Our home is a detached property in a cul-de-sac in South Birmingham, with nearby amenities. We support children and young people of all ages and needs, focusing on those with emotional and behavioural difficulties or trauma.
Our team nurtures young people to help them flourish into the best versions of themselves. We value a reliable, welcoming, and hardworking team that supports and guides the children in all activities, including holidays and days out.
Who You Are
* Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager — focused on achieving outcomes for others.
* Driver with full UK driving licence.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare and at least two years’ experience in a residential setting.
