We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health & Learning Disability team in Medway, Kent. Key Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive assessments for individuals with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Develop and implement personalised care plans that promote functional independence and social inclusion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, psychiatrists, and community health professionals.
Provide tailored advice and support to service users, carers, and families.
Contribute to safeguarding procedures and ensure care complies with legislative and professional standards.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Support the adaptation of environments and activities to meet the diverse needs of service users.
What We’re Looking For:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with post-qualification experience in mental health and/or learning disabilities.
In-depth understanding of relevant social care legislation and best practice frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively.
A valid UK driving licence – travel between sites is essential.
