Shifts: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights — nights 18:00 to 06:00, days 06:00 to 18:00)
Reporting to: Site Supervisor or Service Manager
About the Role
This role focuses on servicing, diagnosing, and repairing airport ground support equipment to ensure reliability and safety of operations. Engineers will work on both heavy and light vehicles, with a preference for heavy vehicle experience, while providing a high-quality service in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair GSE equipment to required standards
* Execute mechanical and electrical PPM according to planned schedules
* Complete all paperwork and job documentation accurately
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain full compliance with H&S standards
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Heavy vehicle experience preferred (strong light vehicle experience will also be considered)
* 5 years checkable work history to obtain an airside pass
* HGV Class 1 licence (preferred)
* City & Guilds in motor mechanics engineering (or equivalent)
* Ability to pass CRC checks and obtain GSAT certification through in-house training
