The company supports customers across sectors such as manufacturing, automation, energy, security, and transportation.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, youll play a key role in supporting group reporting, month-end processes, forecasting, and financial analysis as the business continues to implement new operating systems and enhance its finance function.Key Responsibilities will include:Assist the financial controller with group finance reporting requirementsPreparation of month end journals and accrualsUpdating forecast modelsReconciliation of balance sheet control accountsConduct variance analysis with insightful commentaryAssist with Month end reporting to tight deadlinesCash flow reviewDetailed analysis and drilldown of transactions by cost centreAssist with the timely weekly reporting to GroupEnsure the smooth running of finance processesAssist with year-end audit queriesAssist finance manager with day-to-day workloadAssist finance team with credit checks and finance queriesQualifications & Experience:Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), studying towards your ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification, or AAT qualified with over 5 years experience in management accountingStudy support offeredStrong technical accounting knowledgeProficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageousAdvanced Excel skillsCandidate Profile:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressureSelf-motivated and able to work under own initiativeStrong communication skillsA proactive and inquisitive mindset, eager to improve processes and add valueAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesIf you're looking for a role where you can add real value, influence process improvement, and develop within a growing business, wed love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
