Job Description - The Role: We are seeking a Consultant to lead the development of a strategic whitepaper and drive high-level planning for process and technology improvements within the repairdesignfunction for civil gas turbine engines. This role involves facilitating strategic brainstorming sessions, aligning stakeholders acrossengineering and operations, and creating a clear, actionable programme roadmap to enhance efficiency, innovation, and long-term capability in repairdesignprocesses. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, experience in complex aerospace environments, and a proven track record in driving process transformation. Responsibilities: Lead the development of a strategy whitepaper for repairdesignprocesses in civil gas turbine engines. Facilitate and lead strategic brainstorming sessions, road mapping, and programme planning workshops. Drive the end-to-end strategy process from concept through to industrialisation for component repair. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT software solutions, including AI and interface technologies, into repairdesignworkflows. Produce high-quality technical reports and documentation to support strategic initiatives. Engage with stakeholders across largeengineering organisations (e.g., BAE, JLR) to align on programme goals and timelines. Ensure compliance with BPSS and NDA requirements as needed. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in technical programmedesign, ideally in aerospace or complexengineering environments. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical strategies and whitepapers under tight timelines. Strong facilitation skills for brainstorming, roadmapping, and time-framing sessions.
