Salary Range: $32,000 - $45,000
Position Summary
This position will work closely with the Principal Investigator/ supervisor and intern research assistants in the Research in Spatial Cognition Lab to ensure smooth functioning of an active research laboratory. Studies in this lab relate to the intersection of cognitive science and geoscience education and practice. The lab’s studies involve collecting questionnaires, psychometric, and behavioral data. The Research Assistant will oversee multiple research activities to include recruitment of study participants, training and supervision of undergraduate interns.

Required Education And Experience
* Bachelor’s in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or related field completed by start of position.
* Minimum of six (6) months of experience working in a research setting conducting experiments with human subjects in cognitive psychology, perception, or decision making.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education And Experience
* Basic knowledge of Qualtrics survey‑building software.
* One or more years of experience working in a research setting conducting experiments with human subjects.
* Interest in attending graduate school.
* Interest in applied cognitive science.
Required Skills And Abilities
* Computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
* Familiarity with basic statistical tests, Qualtrics survey‑building software or a statistics course completion.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, writing, and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle many projects at once.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Usage of Adobe suite.
