Description Salary: £39,862 - £41,771 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours Interview date: Friday 24 April 2026 We are looking for a proactive and skilled HR Strategy and Policy Officer to help shape the future of work at Wiltshire Council through the development of effective HR strategies, policies and processes. The HR and OD Strategy team is a group of specialists focused on delivering strategic HR priorities and ensuring our HR policies support the council’s Workforce Strategy. In this role, you will lead the development and review of HR policies, working closely with stakeholders across HR and the wider organisation. You will also chair equality impact assessment panels for all new or revised HR policies, strategies and projects. We are seeking candidates with a CIPD Level 5 qualification and/or substantial relevant experience in a HR-related field. You will need thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law, strong experience in developing HR policies, and a track record of managing projects or initiatives from start to finish with clear accountability for outcomes.
