The Trafford College Group (TCG) has an opportunity for a Social Science Teacher to join the Academic Studies team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Science teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will be teaching motivated and well-behaved students eager to learn. The primary focus will be on delivering engaging GCSE Sociology lessons, with potential opportunities for A Level teaching for the right candidate. Offering a second subject would be an advantage but is not essential. This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced lecturers seeking a new challenge in a nurturing environment.
About you:
If you are passionate about your subject and sharing your knowledge, skills, and experience, then there has never been a better time to join the Trafford College Group.
You should be passionate about inspiring young people and committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You will need a relevant degree and a teaching qualification (or be working towards one), with strong subject knowledge in Sociology. Whether you are an ECT or an experienced practitioner, you will be a team player who brings energy, creativity, and a willingness to contribute to the wider department and college community. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and dedication to student success are essential.
