About The Practice Consett Medical Centre is a well‑established practice with over 16,000 patients, serving a diverse and welcoming population across mixed urban and rural areas, including the Durham Dales.
The Role
Provide routine and acute GP care with a focus on continuity of care and patient relationships.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists, community matrons and social prescribers.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice and streamline clinical processes.
Participate in clinical meetings, peer support sessions and clinical audit.
Maintain professional development through mentorship, CPD and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications
Qualified GP, MRCGP, Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP, CCT, Full GMC registration.
Experience
Minimum two years as a salaried GP.
Experience of working in a primary care environment and continued professional development.
Experience with QOF and clinical audit.
General understanding of the primary care contract and performer list registrations.
Evidence of current validation, last appraisal and eligibility to practice independently.
