An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the financial management team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to A level standard or have an equivalent level of experience. They will also need excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience of other computerised systems. Knowledge of Oracle general ledger and ESR would be advantageous.
Responsibilities include:
1. Analyze, interpret, and investigate complex financial data, queries, and discrepancies, considering the value added of such work.
2. Work within policies and procedures relevant to the area, planning and prioritizing workload to meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial deadlines.
3. Develop, create, and manipulate reports, presenting accurate and timely financial data using databases and spreadsheets.
4. Interrogate and generate reports from various computerised systems using high-level IT skills, including Excel, the general ledger, Hyperion, and ESR.
5. Develop a detailed understanding of the finance system and related systems to produce relevant information for the organization.
6. Ensure accurate coding of all income and expenditure within the financial ledger to maintain report integrity.
7. Undertake monthly control reconciliations.
8. Raise invoices as requested by budget holders and Divisional Finance Teams.
9. Assist in completing ad hoc projects as required.
10. Develop the role with management and adapt according to organizational changes.
11. Perform any other duties as required.
