Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction and civil engineering projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties
* Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks as directed by site supervisors.
* Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential structures.
* Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure project timelines are met.
* Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
* Assisting the trades if required
Experience
* Previous experience in groundworks or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
* Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols is preferred.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* A valid CSCS card is a must
* Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Machine and dumper tickets would be an advantage
* Relevant certifications and training in groundworks
