Cafe Lounge Supervisor

At Ragdale Hall Spa, we’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Lounge Supervisor to support the daily operations of our two stunning café bar and lounge areas - the Garden Room and the Verandah Bar. Open daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, these beautifully designed spaces offer our guests a relaxed and welcoming environment to enjoy delicious food and drink throughout the day.

As a Cafe Lounge Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in leading our vibrant team, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, high-quality experience that reflects the five-star standards Ragdale is known for.


Main Duties (Full Training Provided):

* Support the Bars Manager in overseeing the daily operations of both the Garden Room and Verandah lounge areas, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the day.
* Take the lead in the Bars Manager’s absence, setting a positive example and maintaining high standards of professionalism and guest care.
* Assist in upholding and enhancing service quality, consistently striving to exceed guest expectations.
* Inspire, motivate, and support team members, encouraging their growth and development through positive leadership and coaching.
* Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including barista-style coffees, smoothies, juices, and alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment by clearing tables promptly and ensuring all bar and lounge areas are immaculate and inviting.
* Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu, confidently taking guest orders and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate service.


Qualifications & Skills Required:

* Proven experience in supervising a team within a customer service or hospitality setting, with a hands-on leadership style.
* A genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
* Confident, approachable, and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
* Ability to remain calm, composed, and efficient during high-pressure or busy service periods.
* Applicants must be 18 years or older due to the legal requirements of serving alcohol.


Hours of Work:

* Full-time or part-time hours available


Salary:

* £12.96 per hour
