Our client is looking for a capable and driven Project Engineer / Irrigation Systems Engineer to join its team based in Corby .

What Youll Be Doing Managing and supporting irrigation engineering projects from initial brief through to completion
Assisting with system design, equipment selection, installation and commissioning
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Working on pumps, motors, valves, sensors, control panels, pipework and associated equipment
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals
Supporting site-based installations, servicing and technical problem-solving where required
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
Identifying practical improvements to system performance, reliability and efficiency
Keeping accurate records of work completed, parts used and project progress

Skills and Experience Required Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
Good understanding of electrical and electronic systems
Experience with pumps, motors, control panels, sensors, valves, automation or machinery
Ability to fault-find and solve technical issues
Confident reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams or manuals
Practical, organised and able to manage work through to completion
Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Experience in irrigation, agriculture, water systems, manufacturing, machinery or process equipment would be highly advantageous
Full UK driving licence preferred
Whats on Offer Salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
